is the walking dead finished

Is that spin off programme fear the walking dead any good?
Its awful, it actually got a bit decent briefly about a season ago and tied in with with TWD but quickly became absymel with the every episode basically focusing on the one thing, the characters are even dumber and unlike the tWD there is no real enemy. Its gone into a wild west theme also.

Like most of you, I lost interest around the time that bloke with the tiger appeared. Not just because of him (although he was bad); the series just seemed to really drop in quality around that time.

16 episodes a season is the main problem; it completely drags out the story and forces the show to throw in a load of filler. A solid 8, 10 at a push, with no mid-season break would have made a big difference in maintaining the quality that it has in the first 4-5 seasons.

The other things that put me off a bit was when the guy with the stick showed up (the one who was in the very first episode). Somehow he managed to teach himself to be a ninja. Of course shows like this require a stretch of the imagination to some degree, but what made WD so good in the beginning was that it maintained some grounding in realism (in terms of the capabilities, vulnerabilities and development of the characters). Later on they all just became 'badass', like some sort of fan fiction.

Gave up second season of Neegan (sp) a decent character but just got fed of it in general.

Main character dies, another pops up, power struggle with another random group, same old stab to the head, same old bollocks

Used to watch it religiously as soon as it became available online so as to not have it spoiled and loved it. Then after about 3/4 seasons it became shit, nothing ever happened except for the premiere/finale of which there was basically two of each per season thanks to the stupid mid-season break, the rest was just filler garbage. Stopped watching at the end of the season where glen died but didn’t and haven’t even contemplated watching it again. Should have ended around that time and would have been fondly remembered instead of the laughing stock it now is. With Netflix churning out watchable stuff quicker than I can watch it I’ve no idea how this still gets an audience.

This is when we stopped watching as well, hiding under a wheelie bin, surrounded by 10,000 zombies or so, load of bollocks.

What happened was it went good for seasons 2-4 but then the show runner from TWD who proecided over ot's wankest period took over, killed off all but two of the original cast and changed the tone to something similar to the shite he produced.

Shame really as it got good before then.
