He was never in mine tbh.If he works hard in training, chills the fuck out with his attitude and starts performing again on the pitch. Would we the fans ever have him back in the good books again? Or did he burn his bridges?
This is all caveated with whether or not Pep/management will forget the past and let him stay and he wants to
I'll add, personally I wouldn't want him back. At the very core of what has taken us to elite level under Pep is that no player is bigger or more important than the team, and that team spirit is everything. We cannot risk anyone or anything that could ruin that. Cancelo is a risk
Love Mancini but he made an absolute mess of that situationIn case anyone has forgotten that notorious evening in Munich in 2011, here's an extract from a national newspaper the following day.
Roberto Mancini has declared Carlos Tevez is "finished" at Manchester City after an incredible night of controversy in which the Argentinian refused to come on as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 defeat by Bayern Munich.
I recall most fans declaring that Tevez would definitely never wear the sky blue ever again (particularly after he buggered off to Argentina to play golf).
I acknowledge that the circumstances aren't the same but never say never.
