Is this the worst Mancunian accent ever ??

This is the worst fake Man accent I've heard, and it's from the TV show Frasier.

Frasier's housekeeper is Daphne Moon and her Manc accent is bad enough, but her brother Simon is appalling.
Anthony LaPaglia, an Aussie plays the part, and Daphne is a south of England girl in real life - and a former Hill's Angel, one of Benny's.
Her mum is played by Millicent Martin - one for older viewers.

In one episode of Frasier he actually wears a Rags shirt - I will spare you that clip, but have a listen to this.




It's near the top of the Dick Van Dyke Dodgy Accents.

If it’s anything like the ridiculous one that provides the cringeworthy voiceover for the cheesy pre match videos it must be truly sickening. It’s the product of some goon who did a second rate media type degree and reckons that this kind of outdated stereotyping helps to build an atmosphere pre game. Why do we employ these idiots ?
