Is the Dzeko signing the sole reason behind Tevez retracted his transfer request or do you think he's been informed of more marquee players coming in?

Tolmie said he thought Carlos had been made "privvy" to a few things and I'm just wondering if Dzeko would have been enough to convince him to stay?

The weight's been on Tevez for ages so it's only natural that he wants someone established to work with up front. Just Balotelli was never going to be enough.

I can see a forward three of Silva - Dzeko - Tevez terrorising defences.

Silva in the forward three and you'd leave Balotelli out???? Balotelli is more than enough, check the goals to starts ratio.

I would say a front three of Tevez-Dzeko-Balotelli with Silva playing just behind. Yaya and de Jong can play defensive midfield or if we're playing a poor team Yaya can join Silva further forward.

This is all until Real or Barca come in with a £40m bid for Tevez in the summer.
