Barca fans rate him. Pep prefers Busquets, an academy boy. Maybe in Spanish football one can even make a case for Pep's choice. However if you want a strong, skilful, tackling, scoring all round midfield player for the premier league this is the man.
The media calling him a holding midfielder have no idea. This guy gets in the box, can pass better than all our current midfielders.

I'd be truly amazed if Villa let Milner leave for 20 million. If we refuse to pay over the odds for anyone then we'll most likely end up with nobody because no club will accept a normal offer from City this summer.
