Isco & Cavani

Very happy with Negredo. Can we swap Cavani for Dzeko though?

When Dzeko leaves, next summer, I think we will go for a good squad striker to take the nr.3 position, not yet another top class one.

I'm just reflecting on our missed transfer targets from the summer, at the time I was a bit fearful that we would be weaker still this season.

However in retrospect, the emergence of Nasri and the capture of Negrado are we actually better off than we would have been with isco and canvani?

Was never that much arsed with Isco yes he is a top player but never ever felt he would come - always thogh Negrado was a decent signing although of the two ie Negrado or Cavani then i would taken Cavani - now really chuffed with Negrado

I dont think we are going to struggle if we lose Aguero as we will at some point

Cavani has been excellent at PSG (11 goals already) and is managing to co-exist with 'star man' Ibra. He would still have been a good signing but Negredo was a much shrewder signing at the price and links up so well with Kun. So in retrospect the club made the right choice.

But I think Isco would still have been a good signing as a rotation option for Silva and Nasri. Isco is one of the stars of tomorrow and already good enough to play at a high level.

As good as Silva and Nasri have been there was a place for Isco and we missed out on a future world beater. Cavani was simply too much money for a good player. Negredo is a much better fit for our team.

About Isco, today Málaga General Manager, Vicente Casado, confirmed that MCFC offered less money than Real Madrid for Isco.

BVB also made an offer for him.

Both nasri and aguero are having great seasons and are great players but iMHO isco and cavanni are better.

isco is no different to nasri .

jovetic is also an attacking midfielder. he can be play the nasri/silva role aswell. i cant wait until this guy joins the tika taka.
