agreed. attacking hasn't been the issue. Negredo's been absolutely amazing and we already have a little Spanish guy floating around in the middle of the park, who is better than Isco IMHO [at this moment].

No disrespect to the OP [who presented a good question] but the real question surrounding our beloved team is how has the failure to sign a stud CB [Pepe etc] effected us....and i think we all know the answer.

would have loved to have both isco the kid, and cavanni but 14 goals in the last 210 mins of football, we're doin alright putting the ball in the net.

Pepe is a massive liability, look at the pens he's given away this season already.
Sakho would have been a good option
As for our striker targets, I think only Ibra would have been a better choice than Negredo
Isco would have fitted in perfectly as well

Both would have been great additions but Negredo has settled in better than anybody could have wished for. He looks like a 40m+ player, we had an absolute bargain with him. Isco I've watched for a few years and not surprised by his quality, he ran the u21's with Alacantara for Spain.

I think Negredo will score 30 in all competitions no problems, vital player for Pellegrini's formation and tactics.

Isco, I actually think Madrid are missing a trick. I believe he could be their Messi and could be a blinder in a false no9 setup. He links up play and has an eye for goal. The way Madrid setup he would make for a better balanced line of Bale, Isco and Ronaldo. It would allow Modric, Khedira and Alonso to play as a three so they would be strong in midfield which is a good thing as they are a front heavy team. Isco can do the linking up but could also score in abundance too.

Very happy we got Negredo instead of Cavani, but still would have liked to see us got Isco. Very talented young man who will be wasted at Madrid behind Bale and Ronaldo

Had Cavani been performing at the level Nedgredo currently is, we'd all be shouting off the rooftops at what a great buy he was at £50m; consider we only spent £16m on Negredo then what a fantastic piece of business. Like most though, Isco looks like a real talent, and I'd still love to have him in a City shirt. Our summer business looks great.

If there is any chance of getting him, we should be straight in there. I think we need another creative player.
