Benitez sacking has been coming for week s even from his 1st day in charge reports of him being sacked have gone on.
If Isco was advanced then this won't change anything both parties would've already known.

Yep agree. I very doubt talks were at an advance stage and I doubt they would even consider sell him in January.

I have actually just been listening to Guillem Balague on Sky and he said that this has been coming for quite some time, and that privately Florentino was not convinced about Rafa. If there were talks, and they were advanced. I am almost certain we would have known that Benitez was not safe, and if Zidane wanted to keep him. These next 72 hours will be critical to see what happens with Isco in the media if talks "resume" or if it is dead in the water.
