They don't need to do this, his agent as probably already expressed Isco's interest if talks did in fact happen in "advanced stage".

Backs up my thinking, it has been coming for a while if you can believe Hunter so hopefully won't change anything regards Isco.

It'd be wishful thinking to say that Benitez's sacking doesn't change anything. One of the main reasons Isco was looking to leave was because of his relationship with Benitez.

Maybe if Zidane continues to leave him on the bench then a move could still be a possibility, but personally I think Isco will see how things pan out under the new manager before making any decision about his future.

It seems like an easy point gained as new boss, keeping hold of Isco when he looked certain to leave under Benitez. Zidane is his idol so all it will take is him whispering a few sweet nothings and promises of game time to get him to stay.

I'm with you. It just doesn't add up. They were talking about getting rid of Benitez before christmas, why would his agent have a meeting set with Perez if he knew this was happening?

Although from a logical point of view Isco would be silly not to first seek possible assurances from Zidane.
