Or if we are unable to get Pogba, Isco is a good substitute.

We are at a time in the clubs history where we are up there with the likes of Barca, Bayern, and Real, Like Khaldoon said last year City is now a club that players want to join, we don't need to pay extreme wages, but at a first tier club we need first tier players, and I believe Pogba is the big signing needed to show the world that, forget the marketing appeal it would send a message that city are here to stay. Pogba must be the first name on our list, he really is that good, Isco would be viewed as a Real Madrid reject who wasn't able to make it, and personally I don't think Isco is physically strong enough to play in a Guardiola system in the Premier league without a physical presence next to him.

You can't sign a player who doesn't want to leave. Madrid misfit means nothing. Robben was a reject. This things don't matter. It's about fit. Savic and Boateng were City rejects, both have since gone on to start in the Champs league finals.

Isco is a fabulous footballer, and it's a shame he went to Real to sit on the bench. He can be a cog here next to Gundogan.

Wasn't it established and generally accepted that he was willing to leave? I'm siding strongly with Lkzerinho here. At some point you have to do something to start the process of recruiting 1st tier players and the way to do that is overpay. It's all a matter of perspective though but personally I think the time is right to make that jump. We've had to do that thus far to get to where we are so quickly so it makes no sense at all to suddenly stop when we are about to reach the top.

I agree. Dungogan alone doesn't solve our midfield problems. We need a physical presence in midfield. It's no coincidence that Arsenal have not won a title since the likes of Viera have gone.

We have got Fernando who we can play if need be. However solving the physical demands by playing one or two athletes isn't the only way to go.

Atletico are claimed to be one of the most physically demanding teams to play, like Klopp's Dortmund. They just ensure that all their players can press the ball rather than employing a superman in midfield

Where does this "if we can't get Pogba we should get Isco" idea come from?

They're absolutely world's apart in playing styles, Isco has had two chances to join us and has turned us down on both occasions.

Never Said Isco is a bad Footballer, you are right he is very good,

but Pogba is the physical presence we need thats all i'm saying. You cant have an orchestra of 11 wind instruments without some percussion.

tell me a team that is succesful that does not have a physical presence in the midfield
