Indeed but even though I've conceded defeat it's certainly not over just yet.

I'm sat here thinking about Ronaldo and Perez stance and comments that he will re-sign yet everyone and I mean everyone is exercising caution saying that he will leave on the biggest Bosman known to world football. I am dubious for want of a word.

to be fair though SHB,youve seen what its like when people see him on here? dozens asking any news tolm,so if he says whats hes heard ,if it goes wrong hes hammered for it,hardly fair is it,when hes constantly bombarded for anything he knows

Who actually said we would sign them - most said they were confident and we were in the box seat, which could have been the truth at the time. Maybe Isco wanted us but we were at our max bid and Madrid gazumped us.

Not sure any respected posters said it was a "done deal" did they?

You say this, but I'm sure you will welcome any news tolmie may have on our next target. I know you feel like this now, but I'm sure I've seen you asking tolmie for info earlier this summer? Unless it wasn't you, in which case I am wrong? I think certain people are privy to info, but not all the ins and outs.

Some of the stuff on here was indeed quite laughable but anyone who can't see that this transfer has been some sort of power game involving a high level of brinkmanship (and was certainly not done and dusted a week ago as the flappers kept claiming) is seriously deluded or just plain thick as pigshit.
