An attempt to counter the quote that he disliked Real Madrid perhaps in case they do get him.

Correct! Its all bullshit to pressure Isco into choosing, however I feel if he read stuff like this it will drive him safer into our arms. Isco wants city! Real want Isco and Malaga want Real Madrid for a possibility of loan back.

They can loan Suarez if they want a young homegrown talent to fill Isco's shoes.

Nothing on the AS website. No quotes - nothing.

Tomorrow's AS has an alleged quote from Isco on the cover, saying "Madrid excites me. It is one of the best teams in the world."

So because he's said at one point in his life that they are a great club that means he must be signing for them now? Don't you think it's more pressure being applied from biased news outlets telling it's readers what they want to hear instead of the antimadridista stuff? Don't fall for it. I'm only saying so because I did on Saturday, and look what's developed since.

On the betting completely disappearing from Skybet, again I wouldn't look into it too much. If they had taken it down for any reason other than man management and admin reasons they'd have announced so, via SSN or their official Twitter feed. When it was announced Navas was to have a medical at City, betting was suspended - not removed. Also, betting at one stage for Pellegrini to arrive was 1/50 and it was still up. I find it impossible to believe Isco was 1/2 real Madrid then within 2 or 3 minutes betting would completely stop.

On the Twitter charity thing, it could mean everything but again could be completely irrelevant. I for one am not paying much attention to that.

I'm not usually a particularly positive or negative poster, I like to play the devil's advocate if you like.

My own opinion just now, if I had to guess? 60% of me says he's City bound, purely based on Prestwich Blues, Tolmie and SP's posts from this evening.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

Well it's all pointing to the fact we won't match the fee Malaga want, just why??

I can't believe we won't match or better Madrid's offer of around €24m.
