If everything has been agreed with Madrid for this transfer,
why would they have to announce it immediately?. It's all
been agreed and he has chosen Madrid. They always have a
separate press conference when they sign a player. Guys,
please it's over.

So you keep telling us day after day...bore off

could the delay on isco signing for Madrid not just be as simple as isco being on holiday????
as for the odds drifting it wouldn't take much money to move these market im sure £1000(not that u would get that amount on) on city would make city favs

we've had enough odds posts.

They didn't mean anything when he was nailed onto us, nor when he was nailed onto madrid, nor when he was back to odds on to us, nor back to them, nor do they mean anything now that they've shortened a bit. They're going to move until the transfer happens, they don't indicate anything, especially in regards to this transfer, clearly.

I can accept the viewpoint that sometimes bookies may learn something or know about a transfer here or there early. But this saga has clearly shown that they don't have a good read on this one. This thread is long enough without some idiot posting the latest odds every 10 minutes.

If you dont like the post then move on to the next one. Simples

Madrid may just want to show due respect to their new manager.
It gives greater authority to Ancelotti if he is well in post before a major new signing rather than just being a puppet for Perez/Zidane.

that'd be a new one for Real Madrid.
Haha, yes they have a fast turn around of managers.
It would undermine Ancelotti if Isco arrived, before he had time to assess and review his squad?

The manager has nothing to do with transfers in Madrid. To win the vote and become president, particularly with Real it is about convincing you will sign the best players. The Real fans love Florentino because he normally does that. It isn't regarded as undermining like it would be in England with our press - part of Pellegrini's recent statement in regard to Navas and Fernandinho make it seem like he had given his approval for us to sign them. Probably more for the press that statement than anyone else. Real for instance conducted their own business when Pellegrini was manager, it is just the way they do things.
