How about you give some reasons for it to 'never happen' and then we can all tell you how wrong you are
I think there is one very valid reason that has been pretty well covered and is why I'm another who has his doubts about this happening: that we'd have to sell someone other than Garcia (and Nastasic who doesn't count) to fit Isco into the Premier League squad, with no obvious candidates to leave. City turned away Inter again regarding Jovetic yesterday according to Di Marzio so he won't be leaving. Negredo would be a possibility, but City already knocked back offers from Atleti and now he's injured for 2-3 months.
LC that is the only reason why we should have doubts, but my guess is that if he is available then Pelle will want to do everything he can to bring him in like he did last summer. Sounds harsh and I love the guy, but Negredo getting injured was a big blow to plans to bring in another foreigner as my guess is that he would have been sold for various reasons.
I saw your posts yesterday about leaving players out of the CL squad and how that would also affect our PL squad, but I can't help but think Txiki has got some kind of masterplan in place that will see everything fall into place like it did last summer. My guess a week or so ago would have been selling Garcia and Negredo, but it all rests on how much Pelle rates Jovetic and whether he can trust him. We could find ourselves dealing with Inter if they table a decent enough bid, lets be honest it seems as tho Isco was the one they wanted last summer and Jovetic was 'plan B', and as much as he has shown potential when he comes on, imagine going through another season like he did last season, we would be pulling our hair out wishing we had took the money from Inter, personally I don't think he is that good that we wouldn't look at selling, if Isco is 100% available.
