Isco

Caballero will play the League Cup next year, nothing more than that, Anybody who doubts this and believes he will dislodge Joe is either stupid and/or in denial. The illusion of competition is just that, an illusion. It was a waste of an overseas player birth. I bet management are kicking themselves now that Isco is surely available. We'll have to sell a top quality player to make room for him now, someone like Jovetic.

lol @ whoever said Hart was shit at the World Cup.

Good to know you have no faith in a man that won 2 trophies last year. Even if we did like you say with the keeper situation and bring in Isco and still keep Jovetic who sits out? Do you know you can only field 11 players? Don't give me rotation crap because someone won't be happy sitting more games then others. If Isco were to come it would only be because he is assured he will get to play on a regular basis. That's the only reason he would leave Real Madrid.

Haha I was going to ask this. Silly posts Hart was brilliant after his stint on the bench.

He was better but wasn't the Hart we all know he can be as I thought he still had moments of inconsistency.

The Everton game papered over a few cracks for me.

Hart is a top keeper when on form but that consistency he showed a few seasons ago hasn't been seen for 18 months now in my opinion.

I think Caballero has been brought in to fight it out with Joe, if he impresses more than Hart then he will be number one.

You may well be right and the best man should play sam. You posted earlier that you wouldn't be surprised if Willy became our first choice. How many full games did you see him play last season ?

I have watched a reasonable amount because I spend most of my weekend evenings watching La Liga football.

Joe is more of a screamer and shouter and on his day is a top shot stopper, Caballero for me is an out and out shot stopper, likes to punch rather than catch and seems more fluid in possession than Hart does.

Both are great keepers but I just think over the last season or so Caballero has been in the better form, Hart needs to regain his performance conistency of a few seasons ago otherwise he will struggle to be the number one.

Hart isn't a bad keeper, it's just his consistency in the last two seasons on a whole has been average.

Caballero will push him and will get him back to being consistent hopefully, either way there is no homegrown keeper out there who could have challenged him because they are not good enough in my opinon, we had to go foreign.

I think i'm gonna like this kid........

Bruno Zuculini said he achieved a childhood dream when he stepped out for City against Sporting Kansas.

The 21-year-old, who will seal a £1.5m move to the Blues from Racing Club as soon as Premier League ratification is granted, looked an accomplished operator in the 4-1 win over Sporting KC.

He scored a stunning opening volley after just three minutes, bossed the midfield and even sent a few choice words the linesman's way after one heated second-half moment. Bruno by name, Bruno by nature.

He said afterwards: "It was a very pretty game and the first time I play with so many people in Europe. It is a dream that I have had since I was a child and today I made it true.

"On top of that, I scored and helped my team mates and I'm very happy.

"They (Sporting KC) are building a strong squad and I have an Argentinian friend, Bieler who played the second half.

"He told me it's a very competitive league and you could see it because they played very well and made it difficult for us, because they had a lot of possession and a strong base to play from.

"I wish them the best, I've seen they have won the cup and I hope they can do it again, like us."
