Isco

As much as I like isco and it was a great first touch and finish.....let's not forget the Dutch changed their full 11 for the game...

Looks like a bit of a rehash this. Talks of Madrid meeting with Isco's father which happened weeks ago. Wouldn't worry too much.

This is why I want Pelle confirmed ASAP. Time is essential. Anyone, especially a 21-year-old, can change his mind with enough time. If I recall, Hazard admitted he changed his mind.

Don't give him time to think, throw ink and paper at him before he has time to think about it.

Agree, it's from the fountain of knowledge that is the Mirror. Only Simon Mullock is worth paying attention to from there.

No quotes, just a rehash of what was written a few weeks ago.

Must be a slow news day for The Mirror.

This doesn't sound good.

Manchester City face competition from Real Madrid for transfer target Isco.

Deposed Premier League champions City want Malaga playmaker Isco to join their squad this summer, and are hoping incoming boss Manuel Pellegrini can help clinch a deal.

But Isco and his father, who acts as his representative, have held talks with Real Madrid, who are ready to fight City for the 21-year-old.

Pellegrini is set to be confirmed as City boss by this weekend and one of his first tasks will be to persuade Isco to follow him there.

Isco regards Pellegrini as his 'father figure' in football and City believe the appointment of the Chilean can make the deal happen.

Malaga rate Isco, who scored in Spain's 3-0 win over Holland at the European U21 Championship on Tuesday, at £20m but are likely to accept £15m.

COME ON CITY GET THE DEAL DONE!!!

David McDonnell is a rag **** who almost never has anything good to say about City. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-citys-new-manager-manuel-1924632" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... el-1924632</a>

Isco's agent met Real Madrid WEEKS ago, there was a photo of him at the stadium.
