Basically, he got speaking to the kid, the kid blabbed, the kid took him to see Txiki, Txiki confirmed what the kid said and expanded on it briefly then told my friend not to tell anyone anything and also told the kid not to go blabbing again. This was all at City where my mate is doing some work there for a couple weeks.

Just to reiterate, I was told this in good faith and am passing it onto everyone in good faith. Please, be under no illusions that I am telling it you as a fact but I 99% believe my friend, plus he has photo evidence of his meeting with Txiki at least. I am also waiting for the picture he described to be put on the OS to make certain he is telling the truth.

if you did that there would be big red exclamation marks against 95% of the posts on the board
the only threads without them would be muffin/barm and the music association game

This source seems to be getting further away, now I am confused. Not getting at you just trying to understand it. First off it is a friend who telephones Cheeky now it is information given by cheeky to a relative kid of his who blabs it to your friend. But the telephone conversation confirms the information the Spanish Kid gave to your friend. So he has this information from 2 sources both from Cheeky both saying the same thing.

Thanks for clearing that up. It now seems so much more plausible.

Being honest, if I was in your position I'd feel the same but this is honestly what I've been told and what I will choose to believe. Trust me, whenever I see an ITK I instantly think they're an attention-seeking nobody and I shared many peoples dislike for Tolmie's Hairdoo.

It's not Txiki's kid, he was in his teens and knew Txiki and that's why he was there but he is not a direct relation to Txiki.

Well, Txiki only confirmed what someone else had told my friend, a Spanish kid of some relation to Txiki who was obviously keen to show off and blabbed to my friend his inside knowledge.

I accept everyone's disbelief and a few of the replies have amused me (The IT consultant joke in particular) but if the picture my friend has described does appear on the OS I expect an apology from everybody who has attacked me. Preferrably in the form of a £10 note.
