We have signed two players who will complement our side. They are however not Grade 1 players like Kun, Silva, Yaya, Tevez and Kompany.

IMO it's not about signing Grade 1 players, it's about signing players that will make City a Grade 1 team.

i know a lot on here didnt think we would win the title with Barry in the team the rest is history :)

I just find it bizarre that somebody thinks Navas and Fernandinho are somehow inferior players. All this because the people who run City don't think it's best policy to pay over and above want they think to be a good and fair price.

We sign Isco great; if we don't I'll get over it and look forward to seeing who else comes in, happy in the knowledge that we have already signed two belting players who are going to improve us.

I think we shouldn't be getting too carried away with the effect of the RVPussy signing. Utd won the title with 89pts; same as we (and they) had the previous season. Difference was that our top striker was out and/or not at his absolute best for much of last season.
If you factor in the effect that evidently some players just didn't seem to get on with Mancini, then I would expect an improvement pointswise simply by the appointment of Pellegrini, regardless of signings.
If Nasri doesn't pull out of the wall in the derby, we grab a stuffy goal away to QPR and win our last game at home to Norwich, then it's a 3 point gap. Doesn't need massive changes. Chelsea need to be watched though.

You think its good stuff when someone bashing fellow city fans for their emotions? Because thats excatly what we are dealing with, strong emotions, it just show how much ppl invest in their club and im not talking about money but feelings/emotions,time. If someone think fans in here just write things for the fun of it then they are way off track. its the emotions that take control in this kind of situations. some are better to keep them to themselves than others we are all different.

As I say IMO it is obvious the manager wanted ISCO and that deal was done ages ago - The people negotiating should have got the deal done before the U21s. Unless you are ITK how do you know we haven't c*cked up

We've added fernandinho and navas, yet some people are getting upset over a player rejecting us. Basing on last seasons performances, we lacked width and needed a midfielder with pace. Sorted. Now we need a striker, cavani was our main target but over priced. I'm sure we won't fail in getting our squad ready before the first game, still well over a month till kick off.

Let hope you are right,I'm not quite so sure he will be the game changer many seem to think. Don't get me wrong,he may well get that extra bit out of the players but a manager can only do so much. I think if we don't strengthen our forward line we will come up short regardless of what Pellegrini can bring. Just my take on it.

Take the little bit he adds and the large chunk (my opinion) mancini took away & thats quite the improvement already, thats not even factoring any transfers. Guess we'll find out next season one thing im sure of as much as id liked to have signed isco i dont think he'd be the game changer you were looking for, he's not there yet.
... & were not behind man utd in personnel just performance, just my take on it. :)
