Isco

I honestly hope they are rags, if not I'll be seriously worried about the lack of testicles in Bluemoon members.

I'm not worried by the new "development" that Madrid have agreed a fee.

Isco said himself that both City and Madrid have made concrete offers so I'm sure our bid has been accepted as well.

I'm still reasonably confident.

However, if he does go to Madrid, we have been made to look like fools again. Eto'o, Sanchez, Hazard, Cavani. We spend months trying to tie up these deals and then end up missing out at the last minute. I know it's difficult signing world class players because everyone wants them, but I would have thought that City would gauge a players playing preference before embarking on a 6 month transfer saga.

How the hell do we 'look fools again'? He's chosen Real over City! We all need to remember we are not Real or Barca or United. It will take a long time to get anywhere near them.

If he doesnt come, move on.
Come on mate. Don't put the rags in the same sentence as Real and Barca. They're a stockmarket blip away from financial meltdown. One of the clauses in the bond sale was that if they failed to qualify for the CL, the investors can ask for their money back in full. You can't just magic up £500m.

I've just had a look at the MANU chart on Google Finance and, just before the news of Fergie's retirement, the quoted price for their bond issue was $19.04. Since then, the price has plunged to $15.88. This is a severe percentage drop in such a short time and as this issue was sold as a non-interest bearing 'investment' with growth in asset value being the overall selling point, there will be an awful lot of folk in America who bought into this 'dream' model, and this meltdown you suggest may well have already started, CL or no CL.

Yeah guess you're right there, it's just frustrating that it could possibly be Cavani AND Isco that we miss out on.

Similar to RVP and Hazard last season.

Sucks mate :(

And to think, they could have me on a free transfer!
I'm shit, fat and gettin on a bit but I'd still be a great acquisition for nowt!
And I'd do my best to track back!
Best just to stay back if you're that fat.
I'm old fat and slow but I have great positional sense so I might be a better bet

Tancredi Palmeri ‏@tancredipalmeri 1m

2/2 Isco - Real always been ahead of Manchester City, thanks to several meetings with his father. Going in their way, but nothing signed yet

same guy said Chelsea had signed Cavani. I still believe he will come here.

Both Marca and AS now have reports independent of Cadena SER's saying the agreement is in place. The key words are "in principle", surely that gives City a chance to do something about it...

Hey hooo why all the loom and gloom !!! if he go to Real, next Year city could try Reus ! add to that Nasri can play on the right or 10 behind the striker

so why the overreaction! United won the league with the likes of Valencia, young and nani would you want one of them here ? i don't so ! so it isn't just about one player

I unfollowed Tancredi a couple of days ago. He used to be reliable but he just posts things for a reaction like Guillem.

He gets fed info for those clubs benefits if he doesn't now that he's a mug

frustrating thing about all this is most of the news has been about Real Madrid and their bids, nothing about what we are trying to do to get this guy.

This is my first post, so go easy folks!

Marca and AS are both controlled by the Real Madrid propaganda machine. I suspect they get 'their papers' to publish stories to unsettle players and competing clubs. I certainly think this is the case with Isco.

There was a story published by AS or Marca that Real had named their No 11 shirt with Bale's name - the arrogance of it!

If Isco moves to Real his game time will be seriously restricted. As is evidenced by Morata who has only played 14 times for Real in the past 2 seasons.
Welcome fellow blue. Most of us are ok on here so you'll be just fine. Having said that I hope you've got thick skin & aren't overly sensitive.

Finally, if anyone asks, you went to York away! Lol :0)
