So did the betting actually get suspended then last night? I was on just before I went to bed and everyone was convinced the deal was dead, some serious flapping going on. Have to admit, my sleep was a bit restless! Was it all a pile of balls then???

William hills were still offering 7/4 for him to come to us at 10am. Closed now!

Is all the transfer betting closed on will hill at the min? Having difficulty finding the section

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

Must mean a statement regarding his future is imminent,
if betting has been suspended.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

What I'd like to see happen is...

1. The Etihad jet with the City livery arrives in Madrid with Pelli, Txiki, Ferran, Khaldoon and the medical staff onboard.
2. A private medical facility is hired as close to the Bernebau as possible
3. Medical carried out
4. Pictures of Isco at the top of the stairs to the jet
5. Pictures of Isco signing onboard the Etihad jet
6. Fly back to Manchester to unveil the player to press and fans

to coin a phrase from one of our sponsors...JUST DO IT!!

If Carlsberg did medicals!

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

I have a feeling news will break tonight around the 1030 mark in preparation for big news tomorrow....
that usually seems to happen with us,we get late night breaking news, got to bed and have a wank and wake up in the morning with a hard on still...
I just got a feeling we`ve sorted it all out and we`ll be breaking it tonight imo...

Betting still suspended so they think it is over .........which ever way

It may well be suspended as the bookies got nervous, usually the transfer betting markets are pretty small so if there was a lot of money going on either way there is wild fluctuations in odds.

A lot of people would have got Isco to Real before they were odds on and similarly there may have been a fair bit of money put on Isco to us last night. As it's a small market that can easily be influenced by information (unlike a race or match people on transfers betting may actually know the outcome) the bookies may prefer not to offer odds anymore.

very good comment pre u21.. we had him... should have been pre contract etc.. or post dated contract.. whatever.. we had him and missed putting him in a keep net

Yeah because he would have just signed that no problem, especially after his Father had visited Real in person.

I'm sure you would tie yourself to the first offer that comes along without bothering to find out what your options are. Makes sense.

its only been a two horse race, and he slagged off the other horse... plus this has been going on for about 9 month..<a class="postlink" href="http://omgghana.com/manchester-city-make-isco-top-january-target-ahead-of-falcao-jovetic/?post_id=noID&no_redirect=true" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://omgghana.com/manchester-city-mak ... irect=true</a>

just my opinion.. but it should all have been signed and sealed Before RM could get a chance..

Yeah right! If you want a private Disco party you'd better be prepared to sbreak the bank! We're not in the Mark Hughes era anymore.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

nothing new this morning except.more reassurances from people on our end that this isn't over yet and that he should be ours. If lost n spaced is correct then Tuesday is the day

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

Strange how Marca have gone very quiet on this, infact they're
mentioning Bale wants to join them this morning. Hmmmmm.
Surely they wouldn't need both.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

I think the longer this goes on, the more optimistic we should be.

If everything was true as reported in all the spanish press then I'm pretty sure we would have heard something official by now, from either Perez or Isco himself.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

Rip up the non-aggression pact and be very aggressive City.

That said - amazing how a promising decent player becomes a world class star we can't do without over the course of a long fluctuating thread.

It does.

What it does NOT indicate is that it means he's going to Real Madrid.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

"Malaga's @Diario_SUR claim, that Isco's transfer to Real Madrid could be completed as early as today. Did City actually ever put in a bid?"

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

The silence from all 3 clubs is really weired.

If th deal is done, then one of the clubs would surely leak some news, be it positive or negative.

Can't believe all 3 clubs would stay quiet if Isco has made his choice.

or more likely Malaga. If it's true that Real won't announce deals until 1st of July and we know how long it takes City to confirm deals, the most likely first official information would be a statement on Malaga's website to confirm an agreement to sell Isco to us or Real
