Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

City are bound to be silent if we aren't signing him. We're hardly going to see "Manchester City are delighted to announce that Isco has chosen to join Real Madrid."

There's nothing stopping Madrid shouting from the rooftops, and you know they most certainly would.

I have for a long time found this forum fun and it is obvious by the way that certain people post with succinct info that they have some insider knowledge.
In this case I believe City have done everything they can to sign Isco but it's his choice and if a young Spanish player decides to choose a top Spanish side as his next career that is no slight on either him or those that have posted good insider info on here. At the same time if as we hope he chooses our beloved blues then we should all be grateful for the positive news that has kept us entertained through the last week or so.

Well said.

The Spanish press say they will announce it with Ancelotti, the same dream many City fans had of Pellegrini and Isco.

True, but an off the record briefing that we are now looking elsewhere would've been plausible (as we appear to have done with Cavani, for example)

But RM would mention it... Shirley?

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

The ITK'ers on here have been adamant that they think he'll be ours.

Almost all in the media are saying he is going to Madrid.

Who to believe?

If he comes to us the ITK'ers will get the keys to bluemoon, if not they'll look a little silly like Comical Ali being certain against all evidence!

the silence is deafening from City..

Still confident

Maybe because we've buried our heads in the sand?

We had the Isco deal agreed ....everything was finalized .......Txiki informed Marwood to have Isco sign here, handed him his pen and went for a quick pee leaving Marwood and Isco alone in the room together for 2 minutes ....then suddenly the deal was agreed with Madrid instead ....WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED ?

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

If I was an enterprising Night Club owner in Manchester I'd set up a Non-Isco Disco should he not sign.

I'd prefer to party on at the Isco Disco mind.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

There's a certain Ronaldo that plays in Isco's current position at Madrid.

Can't see him getting Ozil's place.

That only really leaves the right wing if Di Maria doesn't get played.

Or the bench.

Easy decision Isco - City.

If he does join Madrid I'd have an overwhelming feeling we just couldn't come to terms with Malaga... probably because they've taken their ball home over us not paying compensation for Manuel.

Guillem Balague ‏@GuillemBalague

Latest I heard; Isco will go to Madrid (25-30m euros).
