Islam v Christianity-what it boils down to

They're both essentially Middle Eastern ghost stories and superstitions that people have simply taken way, way too seriously.
You don't see people blowing themselves and others up just because the fella down the road doesn't salute magpies.

No but you see plenty of people murdering each other in the name of politics, or even in the name of a football team! In fact the largest mass killing of human beings was committed by people who were atheists I give you

The Killing Fields (Cambodia) 2 million victims

65 million in the People's Republic of China

20 million in the Soviet Union

And about 10 million in other countries, 10,000 deaths "resulting from actions of the international Communist movement and Communist parties not in power.

All that for a book written by a middle class German

Human beings are strange when it comes to individual beliefs

Every religion is there to make the masses behave themselves with the threat of hell for sinners. Muslims are told drinking alcohol is against their religion but the truth is it's a means of stopping infidelity. Middle eastern and other hot countries tell the men they have to be circumcised because it's their religion but the truth is because they can't always have the means to clean themselves properly so the whole place would stink of bulb-cheese. If you don't do as you're told, you go to hell. All religions are the same.

Religious scripture, on occasion, encourages murder. Communism, Atheism and football clubs don't.

There's the difference.
