Just wasn't on the thread. You keep listening to your soundbites while your country sells weapons to every buyer in the middle east.
I'll worry about our soldiers and medics in the peace corps that go in and clean up the mess created by it.

Sorry where was I in agreement that we should sell weapons to every buyer in the Middle East ?

I just stated the case that ISIS are not for negotiating , they are jihadists and in there view fighting a holy war. You want us to just casually give this group of fanatics millions of dollars every time they shove a knife to an American head, correct ?
I don't give a fuck who they are, if people from my country, not the States are captive, I want them home with their families. I find it extremely hypocritical that the British and Americans trot out this "no negotiating with terrorists" line after arming the c**ts in the first place. As for them using the money, you do realise it wouldn't be much use to them if the 5 countries I named would swallow their greed and obey the arms treaties they signed, don't you?

A very good point, which is often missed. If the trade of weapons was restricted and properly enforced then there would be less available weaponry to Warlord led organisations like IS. The trouble is that even if official trade is restricted they still use unofficial means- with black market gun runners acting as privateers for countries that need the flow of weapons to carry out their foreign policy objectives.

90% of arms in conflict zones from those 5,most countries don't produce weapons go figure

I would imagine that some other countries may produce more weapons to fill some of the demand but the general point is correct. If you are serious about controlling the supply of weaponry and preventing it being acquired by unsavoury organisations, then why do you also need to be a world leader in production of such weaponry. It is absolute hypocrisy for the five permanent members of the UN security council to be the five major producers of weapons.

I don't think you can negotiate with ISIS but it's important people recognise and tackle the political issues which leads to them being able to recruit new fighters until the end of time. The problem with the Middle East isn't that we haven't had enough violence. As long as there are political imbalances and injustices and people excluded from the political system, you will find people who will fight and will fight generation after generation. It happens the world over. It happened on our own shores not very long ago and was only solved by a power-sharing agreement. We've been fighting a war on terror for thirteen years, does Islamic extremism look weaker to you?

Personally mate, I think the beast has yet to be awoken.

I think their ultimate goal is to try and attack Israel.
Israel will kick there arse.

Nice to see its going to kick off good style :

US Vows To 'Degrade And Destroy' Islamic State

e-mail

Barack Obama has vowed that justice will be done against the Islamic State after it beheaded a second American journalist.

The US President said America would "not be intimidated" by IS violence and promised to "degrade and destroy" its forces.

He spoke after a video was released apparently showing a masked IS militant killing US reporter Steven Sotloff - and warning that a British hostage will be next.

The 31-year-old, from Florida, is seen dressed in an orange jumpsuit in the video - titled A Second Message To America.

Mr Sotloff, who had worked for Time and Foreign Policy magazines, was forced to read out a statement before he was killed.

Intelligence officials believe the killer is the same British man who murdered journalist James Foley on video two weeks ago.

Sky News is not naming the British captive - who is shown kneeling at knifepoint - at the request of his family.

Earlier, the UK Government's emergency committee met to discuss the threat, with Prime Minister David Cameron saying Britain will not be "cowed" by "barbaric killers".

The US and UK have both said the video showing Mr Sotloff's murder is authentic.

Mr Sotloff's relatives said they were aware of "this horrific tragedy" and were "grieving privately".

Israel also revealed he had dual citizenship and it withheld the information to protect him.

Mr Obama told a news conference in Estonia: "We will not be intimidated. Their horrific acts only unite us as a country and stiffen our resolve to take the fight against these terrorists.

"Those who make the mistake of harming Americans will learn that we will not forget, our reach is long and that justice will be served."

Hours after the video emerged, Mr Obama authorised a State Department request for 350 extra US military troops to be stationed in Iraq.

The White House said the troops would "protect our diplomatic facilities and personnel in Baghdad".

Nato leaders are set to attend a two-day summit in Newport, Wales, on Thursday.

The group will discuss offering training support to the Iraqi military to combat IS fighters, according to Sky News sources.

wow he dosnt mess about straight to the point, i like him

He's right really about the lack of outrage coming from - for want of a better phrase "everyday muslims" about all sorts. I watched a documentary last week on yotube and these IS are going round the streets telling people to cover up their wives because you could see an ankle when stepping off a curb but they think nothing of brutally killing an innocent people. Insane.

He's berating an innocent Muslim trying to get him to react. Pathetic.
