This lad looked very very useful indeed at the African nations… May we’ll be worth bringing him back to the Etihad for pre season training too take a closer look prior to grant any move away.. He could prove pretty useful if Walker gets injured

So Cancelo is not a right-back? Maybe it's time to use a right-footed player as an RB and a left-footed one as an LB? :) I'm almost 100% sure that Cancelo-Cucurella will be our pair of fullbacks in the next season. You would like to keep the youth JUST IN CASE, whilst all of them want to play and be starters in the other clubs.

IMO 5m£ deal with a 15-20M£ buyback release clause is a fair one.

Honestly, having watched him at the AFCON,.. I think he’s worth quite a bit more than £5 mil… If we must sell him, I’d say £15 is more realistic.. he really is a decent fullback, in my opinion. Definitely a buyback clause inserted in any deal though

Still has a chance this lad imo. Standout player at his Ligue 1 club and then young player of the tournament at AFCON, so already versed in grown up football. A year in the PL with a buyback could be the making of him.
