We got a taxi to the stadium after we found out it was a 2 hour queue just to get on the shuttle buses at Yenikapi. Afterwards, a mate talked us all into getting the Metro back when we saw just how many people were heading for where the buses were and I'm glad we listened to him.That was my policy and turned out the best thing I ever did
Porto was also organised with much leas notice.In Porto there were hundreds of club staff posted all over the place, inside and outside the stadium, pre and post match, and directing people to pre-assigned buses, which had free food and drink packs when you boarded

Were the club not allowed to bring their own security staff?
Or did they try and cheap it out by contracting to Sportsworld who themselves did it on the even cheaper?

It was a bit bizarre. We saw the chaos for the bus after the game and set off for the metro, passing thousands of blues going the other way up the hill. We couldn't say "come with us" as we had no idea if the metro still had queues or was even still running. No queue, straight onto largely empty train, and back in a bar by 2.15.We got a taxi to the stadium after we found out it was a 2 hour queue just to get on the shuttle buses at Yenikapi. Also, regarding the Metro, I thought UEFA said it was a 25 minute walk from there to our end but it certainly didn't feel like a 25 minute walk to the Metro stop after the game.
