It was absolutely horrendous. I’ve never seen anything like that. We got the Metro going to the ground after seeing the Queue at Yenakapi and that worked well after 3 changes! However, relatively stress free.
After the game. My god, I was one of thousands of people just walking for miles in the hope of getting a taxi. It was a forlorn hope for most. It was pitch black, dangerous as the roads were fast and at one point fans were almost crossing a motorway to get to a place where they may have had the chance of a taxi. It was a terrible sight to see so many blues just walking with little hope. I got lucky and flagged one down but had to offer him £50 Sterling to take us which he accepted. There were so many people still left. The police were useless, uefa useless.
