Istanbul CL Final chaos | City Matters statement (p 133)

I spoke to several shop owners in the grand bazaar who weren’t fans of either side but managed to get a ticket along the sides and they had no problem with transport in or out or hospitality.I bet the Inter fans were in a better position as the route up to the Metro would have been well establishe.
Looks like we just drew the short straw.
Looks like we were purposely given the short straw in a one straw draw.

That’s the one bud.I mean I’d given up on a beer or food.It was just water I wanted as I’d left the flat a 11am and had my water confiscated at each entrance.
i’LL NEVER EVER COMPLAIN ABOUT THE FOOD INDEED ANY ASPECT OF PRICE,SERVIVE,WAIT AT THE ETIHAD EVER AGAIN:-)

Heard a rumor we’re opening a new hospitality area called Istanblue and they will serve kebabs. Only downside, they lock the doors until 2 hours after the match, before you can leave

City we’re designated the 'home' side by UEFA for administrative purposes… and then given the ‘away’ fans end. Make of that what you will.

I'm told they did a number of site visits and raised concerns with UEFA around various matters. But they said nothing to us, the fans who were going, and seemingly shrugged their shoulders and placed reliance on UEFA to get it right on the night. Which we know they didn't.

And over a week later, there's still been nothing official from the club about the issues we all faced, many of which they knew in advance we'd be facing. Rob Draper and others have done and said more than Soriano or Danny Wilson. It really, really annoys me and I wonder now why I wasted 4 years on City Matters continually banging my head against a fucking wall trying to represent my fellow season ticket holders.
It’s really sad to say it, but the club do not give a shit about the long standing proper core support of this football club.

They come across like they have more interest in sucking up to Liverpool FC than they do looking after their own fans.

Don't know if this has been posted already, but just watched it on youtube.
good video and pretty well sums up my experience .

Good video that by the young lad and a fair assessment of what we went through. He failed to mention the shit seats which lacerated everybody’s legs behind the net.

Think the videos quite tame considering the hardships faced by some over the course of the 24 hours.

Should have had that **** Thogden there live streaming it. No doubt that twat had access to a ticket.
