Well, after 4 nights and being a little apprehensive about coming here with my son, and daughter for two nights too
And some very good friends
It’s been an experience

The locals I met were great
Lots of new songs that they will know for years to come !!!
Johnny!! Ye if your here you’ll know
Every Turk knows John Stones by now !!

Met new people shared a few stories
And we brought home the European cup

Thank You
These memories will stay forever

I had an unbelievable three nights, although I’d say after the match waiting in them buses was fucking horrible and a proper mood killer. Istanbul is ace, my second time there and I haven’t got a bad word to say about it. It’s a shit hole, but it’s a shit hole steeped in culture, amazing food and great people. Anyway, most major Cities across the world are shit holes.

Met a lad from Prestwich tonight with his lad had a do Friday night with a couple of locals quite early too ! 9.00pm
Luckily he’s ok
Lots of poverty here as u say
Very different from the usual euro away

Didn't get robbed mate. Just ripped off at times. Other blues got rinsed, money, mobiles, and passports, etc, stolen.

One thing I have noticed. If you tip them, which is peanuts, respect them, thank them, tap your heart, they remember you, are friendly and accommodating when you meet them next time. It's a cultural thing.

I wanted to do something similar. Uefa was shite, my heart blead for the disabled people being dragged across that shittie hole car park.
As far as the average Turkish people go. I have nothing but thanks. Yes, some of you might have been scammed, I'm really sorry.
Our experience has been 100% positive. Random guys, helping us with the Istanbul card and direction. Hospitality of bars and the general public putting up with our excitable behaviour without any complaints. Locals joining in with the celebrations. Priceless.
Let's be honest, if you go on mass to a foreign country, the shit houses will be waiting. So, it helps to be vigilant.
Thank you Istanbul, Fuck off UEFA.
