The Friday night there was incredible. Unbelievable scenes!

Never experienced anything like it.

We stayed two nights in Taksim and had a wonderful time.

First time I’ve stayed abroad with Our Kid since 1979!

We were fortunate that we were advised by other supporters to turn round at Yenikapi station and use Metro to go to the ground so we avoided the shuttle bus mayhem completely. We also got into the stadium early and got food and drink quickly.

We had two very enjoyable long lunches at the same restaurant near our hotel.

A very special weekend.
