He was trusted in the derby and made a completely basic error that ended up costing us the game!

He played LB while he's a right-footed central midfielder. This is the point I was making about being trusted by Pep - he hasn't trusted him to be able to play centrally. Hard for Nunes to turn a corner as a midfielder when he's not played as a midfielder.

Considering our injury crisis this season you'd think he'd be a regular figure in the team, Don't get me wrong he's had a couple of good games when he's played but personally would have thought he'd have featured more, I doubt he'd have featured at all if we'd a fully fit squad.

The figures I quoted are across all his games. Him not being used during the injury crisis/form crisis is Pep's decision - just like McAtee not getting game time in favour of having an aging, legless midfield. The fact Pep doesn't trust him is reason enough for him to move on - no point him being in the squad - but I don't think it's right to say he hasn't turned a corner. He's been played as a winger, got assists & goals and not really been used in his normal position

They won't, this is classic FSG to give the fans hope.

Could Consider, If he leaves, alert to the situation, could contend, if a market opportunity, not seeking but admire, outrageous that amount of buzzwords he's thrown in the tweet which basically say nothing, sounds like they only way they will buy him is if napoli deliver him to their front door for a tenner.

I had high hopes for him but let’s be honest, he’s a complete and utter fanny and never in a million years good enough to be in our midfield.

Needs moving on.

True, but if they move now for him, that's a lot of options. They would be daft to not renew Salah - TAA should be the casualty. Nunez...no comment ha

yeah, clearly a target of opportunity, depends on Napoli
 
You'd expect Liverpool will do almost anything this window to avoid being left in a situation where they have to bid against teams for their Salah replacement in the summer.
