Palacios and Singo please.
Palacios would be a massive upgrade for our midfield. His energy, versatility, and technical ability would elevate the entire team—he’d be an incredible signing.

As for the right-back position, either Singo or Vanderson would be fantastic options. Singo brings power, pace, and physicality, while Vanderson offers a more technical, well-rounded game with excellent attacking contributions. Both would add much-needed depth and quality to the squad.

If we manage to secure even one of these signings, it would significantly strengthen the team in key areas.

I doubt we’ll sign Singo or Vanderson if we go for Cambiaso, but if City pulls it off, and signs Singo/Vanderson along with Cambiaso then kudos to them—clearly, they aren’t messing around!

Id prefer Singo or Vanderson over the recent new around Cambiaso.

I admittedly havent watched him week in and week out, but based on reading about him, youtube clips and some stats, he is a very attacking fullback.

His defensive side does not look very good to me.

Im also not really concerned about LB with Ake, Gvardiol, O Reilly, Doyle (from loan), that spot seems covered.

Getting a stud right back who can lock his side down in someone like Singo... id much prefer that.

Cambiaso alone would make starts scarce for Rico in the backline. Including a Singo or Vanderson would likely mean Rico would be moving permanently to the midfield or forward groups. I think it would allow Rico to slot in as the long-term Bernardo replacement serving as a high energy option to link up play and to receive the ball in the pockets further up the field.

on a more long term aspect Stones (injuries so often), Grealish (underperforming), Gundo (age), KDB(age), Bernardo (burnt out somewhat, could be be saved but not by being overplayed like now), McAtee (lack of minutes overall), Nunes (not good enough), Ederson (almost left for Saudis last time and rumours we looking at GKs in Italy) have a feeling most of these are going to leave this summer. maybe not all at once but 4-5 of them the upcoming summer already. ohh and Phillips too hopefully, while Walker is out in 2 weeks as the first big OUT of the rebuild process, quite few more will join him in that later...

in the summer we surely add another 3-4 new players too to kickstart the Viana era, so the exit door has to be busy as well so we end up with a younger, stronger, more fit squad, which is no longer looking at "small squad" mantra but ready to go hard across all tournaments and gives chance for heavy rotation even with bigger injury spells.
have a strong feeling Stones, Grealish will be cut this summer and with Walker and Phillips going too wonder if we need to keep an eye on English players too for homegrown quota and which players worth spending on where arent overpaying a lot for English tax but get a great addition to the squad too.
Our last two English transfers were Grealish and Phillips right? well both cases we overpaid big time, 150m and we got 6 great months out of Grealish and not even 6 great games form Phillips.

With the way this windows been progressing I'd expect a more traditional summer window for us with only one or two more players coming in.

I think while Viana already working with Txiki on current window in the background he will come in and add some more himself. at least 3 new players minimum imo in the summer,, rebuild needs to be done and while this window kickstarts it, more will be needed. especially with the expected exodus.

My hopes and dreams say one of Musiala or Wirtz.
Reality says Baena.
I prefer my hopes and dreams.

I honestly prefer Vanderson or Singo too, but with Cambiaso's versatility, you can bet Pep is probably already foaming at the thought of how he could utilize him in different positions and tactical setups. Because of that versatility, Cambiaso edges out Singo and Vanderson as the more likely signing.

I would welcome the Cambiaso signing too.

Christian McFarlane*
New DM
Omar Marmoush

Go straight out on loan*

That gives us around £80m-£100m budget on a DM if that is to be believed, if we go for Cambiaso I don’t see a DM coming in this window (which would be a huge mistake IMO).

This is why I've been keying in on Robinson. We are going to need 1 or 2. Its also why o think Ake is definitely going to stay.

Palacios and Vanderson for me. Singo just doesn't do it for me. Especially now that we've recruited 2 CBs. No need for a hybrid RB/CB.

Just go for a technician. Vanderson ticks it beautifully. But we really have to keep an eye for English talent. I think we'll be losing a good portion of our English core.

And Pep confirming we are looking for a CDM now as well. Also talk of another CM but that’s journo reports but they have been spot on so far

CDM maybe a CM as well.

Plus Echeverri, McFarlane and potentially Bah for CFG.

I could see the club bringing in a high tier 10 signing in Wirtz/Musiala along with another keeper over the summer. If I remove all the players you've listed from the squad this is what's left.

That's 22 players including Carson but excluding academy graduates that I think get shipped out (OReilly). Definitely looks like there's space for a third summer signing if all those guys get moved along. The issue I've got however is that I just don't believe the club or Pep would be comfortable with losing all those players you've listed at once. I think losing all but one in Bernardo or Stones would be an incredible (albeit very unlikely) outcome.
