Foden is the biggest culprit. I think if Gabriel went after him like he did with Haaland, Foden would fall in the floor and start crying on the pitch.

Up until 3-1 I think we were the better team today. We gifted them a handful of goals and had some poor luck. Even if we didn’t sign a midfielder before the window shuts I still think 3rd is possible

Our poor ambition with transfers isn’t just the last couple of summers either. Imagine if we’d outbid scousers for van Dijk instead of thinking £75m was too much. Looks a fucking bargain now. Same with Rice, up the offers until he decided he wasn’t that desperate to stay in London.

Didn't out bid so Got Laporte instead, twice the player and 5x the amount of trophies. Who got the bargain there?

As for Rice, he bottled the move and forced a move to Arsenal where he's won fuck all and the only applause he gets is because he can take a decent corner. 100m player and he offers a decent set piece. Brilliant.

Unfortunately we have took our eye off the ball so to speak with signings over the last few windows and they have been squad players ( not good enough for that either) we have let our treble success and four in a row go to our heads,basically we have sat on our hands and let things stagnate..

Stating a fact ”you're a heck of a fan”.
Yeah unfortunately we wont be facing relegation candidates every week and as this team has shown over and over again they fold almost every time they face a good team. Just in the last 10 days the team has been absolutely embarrassed twice so its hard to talk about that we are in some kind of form.
Of course we can reach top4 but ruling out we finish a couple of places below that in the table is just pure delusion at this point.
