Thanks mate I thought it was 6pm. That gives us plenty of time :)11PM
DisappointingCambiaso not happening so Nunes at right back for the rest of the season.
Agree with the sentiment but Ake isn’t a pushover he’s just never fit. If we had Ake and Akanji either side of Stones and Dias we’d look a different beast. Also think Savio looks capable of having a battle. The rest I agree with. I hate Kovacic as a player and josko though I see his obvious ability is the softest big defender I’ve seen. You’re not getting the point. I’ve said this before, the players that we have won all those titles with or had battles with all those battles with Liverpool, Atlético Madrid or Real Madrid are mouthy af, players like Rodri, Gundogan, Walker, Dias, Ederson, Bernardo, KDB, Haaland, Grealish. (ALOT of those players will be gone in the summer btw) Basically you won’t see them get scared if another player from another team gave it to them, or leaves a late one on them. They’ll give it back.
The issue we have is the new era of signings, Akanji, Gvardiol, Doku, Kovacic, Nunez, Savio, Ake, are pushovers.
Foden (been here for years I know) is the biggest culprit.
Whether it’s good or not, player transfers are now getting bogged down in cat and mouse games between clubs and the players agent.
I think we'll finish in the top 5 in any event. Newcastle have had a couple of poor results recently and beating them at the Etihad in a fortnight will put us in a good position, even if we lose against Spurs and the dippers. In my experience the more money you have the smoother transactions go and the easier it is to get what you want efficiently.
Given the wealth of the club and our dire need of immediate improvement perhaps now (today!) would be a good time to use some of our resources before we end up having to spend even more from a weaker position in summer.
Spend whatever it takes to make sure there’s no repeat of yesterday’s shitshow, and to ensure CL football again next season. We’ll regret it more than the shitty ‘net spend trophy’ if we don’t.

Good
A bizarre choice considering Nunes is playing right back and kovacic and bernado CM. Gonzalez could have be done on day one of the window with his RC, which makes me think we was way down the pecking order in terms of targets. Hopefully he turns out good.Reis and Khusanov may be great in a couple of years but making two young cbs our priority in a winter transfer window where we needed to sign players that can really help us NOW (a DM, midfielder, a full back) is certainly a choice.
Every team, who has a midfielder we want, are turning us down. We don't want to be left out? :)We won’t play him anyway so what’s the point ?
Come on, he’s had about 30 games in La Liga. Absolute bargain bin shopping.Altimira the perfect profile to sign . A very good DM both in and out of possession that will be 2nd choice next season when Rodri is back .
Can't see it happening though. Unlike Gonzalez there has been no contact between club and agent .
What the club want to avoid is setting a benchmark on our spending. If we don't negotiate and pay large sums for players then every club will hold out in the future. You only have to look at the rags to see what happens if you just pay what it takes - you end up with your pants pulled down and overpay for every player you buy and stick them on ridiculous wages.
We will always endeavour to minimise our spending. That ensures we don't waste money and enables us to buy more players.
