So I'm not allowed an opinion if I'm not interested in winning the competition? We should of won tonight, me caring about winning the whole competition or not is irrelevant. We got it tactically wrong, final or no final. I don't really care about the community shield (like many others) but I can have an opinion on our set-up and performance.

To be honest mate, I could go back through your post history tonight and pick out many instances of you caring but I wouldn’t want to be accused of nitpicking again. It’s 2.52am, I’ve had my few hours release dissecting the game tonight and as Colin Bell’s Boots said, this silly twat is off to bed.

That’s my question. Why bother getting so worked up about it then if you honestly don’t give a shit? I don’t care about the Community Shield but I won’t keep on posting, all angry and disappointed, if we don’t win.

"It goes from what is best for fans to what is best for City". In regards to being bothered about the competition. I prefer the league and I want us to win that every year and care about it. If we get knocked out of the UCL It's no big deal for me. For the image and brand of the club going forward and why we were bought we need to win it though. It's what players want. I'm not that bothered about winning it PERSONALLY. Too much politics involved for me. Many City fans are though. The personal pain I felt tonight was mainly for Sergio, If you wanna say I care for that, fine. Me personally wanting it, no.
 
I find the best way to cope with the disappoint is to switch off the second it's over. That's what I did 5 minutes from the end when Liverpool won it and the instant Anelka missed in the shootout.
 
Yes, I’m well over 35. Relegations are much, much worse than this because you lose so much, best players leave, instability, budget reductions, lesser opposition, poorer quality of football to watch. We have lost nothing really and we can have another go next year. It might actually serve to clear a few minds at the club.
 
I care. Especially that this was a golden opportunity for us to win this damn trophy!

I care because the players were not to blame for our loss. The formation messed everything up.

I care because if we had started with Fernandinho it would have been a different game.

I care because you don't play Sterling who has been out of form in the most important game of the season. I don't blame Sterling for this, I blame Pep.

I care because I feel sorry for all the players. It's not their fault they were unable to perform at their best when most of them were trying to over compensate for not having a Defensive Midfielder give them the assurance to move forward.

I care because Pep is the best manager in the world but he messed up this time and didn't correct his mistake until it was too late. Had he removed Sterling and brought on Ferna it might have been a different game.

I care because the goal could have been avoided if we had Ferna on. We were open season in the middle. I don't blame our players for the goal, I can only blame pep!

I care because Pep went back to basics and it worked with us winning 21 games on the trot then in the final and most important game of the season he decides to change it and that lost us the game.

I care because we could have won this game.....if we stuck to the basics which Chelsea did!
