For all Harts mistakes, he's never been dropped. I think until he is, then the mistakes will keep popping up. He is an outstanding goalkeeper, of that there is no doubt, but he is not in form, and if Pellegrini is going to stick by what he said about picking players based on form and not by name, then Hart has to be dropped.

Absolutely - no point in dropping him unless we have better to replace him. Looks a bit like neither Mancini or Pelli think we have better

If that truly is the case then someone needs to be held accountable for keeping a keeper that the manager doesn't rate enough to replace one who is making errors and costing us points.

It's like the decision to give clichy a new contract. Who decided that? He was very average last season and clearly this season is not up to the job. 4 more years of top wages for average performances. He must be pinching himself.

Why sign Jovetic and make him 4th choice behind someone who lets face it has had more than enough chances with us? Another odd decision.

And lastly why haven't we addressed the need of signing a top quality CB to partner kompany? Nastasic over performed last season and is a kid with great potential but he should not be left with the job of leading the defence when kompany is absent.

These decisions are just some of the baffling ones out powers that be have made since we won the title.

In January we need a GK good enough to make Joe sweat and a CB who knows the PL and isn't injury prone.

We need to find a 2nd choice that will push hart every game. Pants may or may not be the one, only the coaching staff know the best. But if hart keeps piling on the mistakes then surely even the players will question MP's managerial skills. There has to be accountability in the squad. If Casillas, a legend for Real Madrid and Spain can get dropped by 2 consecutive managers, surely we can bench hart for all his costly errors.
