Whilst I feel your pain, all languages are evolving and I tend not to choose using such poor grammar, however you can’t stop it happening, so relax and it’ll be one less thing to bother you. I'll be honest I've never thought about stripping any of my guitars down (to be fair they're not worth enough to warrant doing it even if I wanted to)……......
