It is what it is.

Annoyingly, Pep cottoned on to this phrase, and would repeat it almost weekly in his interviews.

It got that bad, that it started creeping into the lexicon of the players and other Prem managers, much to the frustration of the press/interviewer looking for a headline.
Bit of a pointless, throwaway remark really,it doesn't mean anything apart from what is in front is the obvious.

Not always.

Usually when you have no more moves or actions left and don't want to accept it, one gets down about it.

Unless you except that it is what it is.

You can't rewind time to run faster to catch a bus or train.

You have to accept it's gone.
If its @mat s train he did It on purpose anyway. He sees you running to get on so he slowly sets off, always letting you think you can catch up, but he knows....

The cunning bastard that he is is what it is.

@mat is probably too busy stuffing his face with an out of date buffet car pork pie to notice.

You are what you eat.

this thread is what it is, and we all know what that is don't we

I resemble that remark!

I like it but can see why others don’t, it gets a bit overused. There’s nothing wrong with accepting and understanding the reality of a situation and every circumstance is then a starting point for action.

Much better than Stay calm and… (Fuck calm we’re all going to die!)

fixed it for you.
