It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back...

I'm up for it if ever it could get organised, somewhere along the line the government stopped working for the people and we started work for them.

Said it many times before that we need a reset as the world can't continue like this, capitalism if failing. Too many people and an ageing population.

Something needs to change, personally i'd go down the revolution route but I suspect the powers that be will go the world war 3 route.

And just think some poor buggers try and cross the sea in dodgy dinghies to avoid being killed. One thing is for certain we have plenty of mard arses in this country. The fact you are reading this on your laptops/iPhones connected to super fast broadband while watching a bit of tv with surround sound shows what a bunch of deluded knob jockeys you are.

As we currently have free movement of people maybe fucking off would be a good idea. You probably wouldn't even need to swim.

What do you think it would take for a revolution to happen in modern society?

It strikes me that as a world we have become Sheople. The majority of us on social media, watch reality tv, on zero hour contracts, earn minimum wage, prices going up, taxes going up, social care being squeezed, corporations getting away with not paying into society as much.

I'm wondering why people, as a society, continually work against their own self interests and, therefore, think "why should I [fill in the blanks]?".

What will it take for things to change...?

I'm genuinely interested in the thoughts of all sides.

People don't continually work against their own self-interests. They continually work in favor of them, which is part of the problem, especially when those with great means or power choose to do so at the expense of everyone else.

As a wise man once said, 'You can't save the world, but you can save yourself'.

And this is the 'Sheople' rhetoric, but it's a very interesting distinction to make about 'self interest' where society is concerned.
