It wasn`t Bobby ... it was our Kiddo.

Anyone who has the Champions DVD would know this is a weak story. Al Mubarak's interview on the bonus disc explains that Mancini decided to just call it over and done with, in an effort to minimise all sense of pressure, as they felt the players were buckling under the intensity.

Yet again, same old bollocks on here.

Not taking anything away from Kidd, as he is a great coach, but why do so many on here have this black and white attitude. "It was him who won it us", "that twat lost it us". On the pitch its a team game and we win together, a forward can score the goals, but that's no good if you concede, same with the back room staff, it's even more of a team. If all the cogs work right then the players play better.

It's isn't down to just one man, never has never will.

Don't suppose it had a big impact on the title.

But I like the way Brian Kidd shakes hands and always seems to have a polite word with the people who work in the 'tunnel area' on match day.

League titles are one thing. But manners can't be bought.

Have I missed something on this thread ??

Next they'll be saying that Kiddo's hair is better than Bobby's hair. I am not having it.

Is a very useful coach and was a help to Bobby in the title run in.

Well back in the day he could give Roberto a run for his money.
