Firstly, Southgate doesn't even trust Sancho/Rashford to change the game in 90 mins/ET yet he trusts them shoulder all the pressure of taking the crucial pens fuck outta here that piss poor management why didn't he give it to players like grealish or even sterling.

Secondly, Mount should never see another minute on that pitch for England again. "Oh but we need mount for his defensive awareness and tackling" get the crap out of here, you're already playing a back 5 with 7 defensive players how much more defending do you need????

Always a crap way to lose but the better team won and Italy deserved the win.

It's hard to really enjoy this England team. Very dull style of football, which is a shame as England have the players but to be a much more exciting watch. Southgate is just too negative/conservative and while it might be effective enough against weak/average teams, they usually get found out by better teams in decent form. It would be nice to see what this group of players could achieve under a decent manager.

An easy enough passage to the final with all games but one being played at home. Hard to imagine there will be a better chance to win a tournament.
