From what I saw of the CL draw on the box, we only had Vieira and Vicki Closs out there in Monaco. Seems a bit strange given that we usually have the CEO, Khaldoon, Marwood etc out there. Perhaps they're busy with something else.

I'm optimistic that something's going to happen. That draw might make a difference as well; an added incentive to make a deal.

This is all mind games by Mancini... buy young/unknown players and sell a couple of high profile ones, then say we are underdogs who can't win the league and will compete with Stoke for 8th. It worked last season in the run-in. :)

17 players therefore can be foreign.

You are only showing one CT player which means the maximum squad size for CL is 22.

Only players under 21 that can go on the B list are those which have been at our club for three consecutive seasons between the ages of 15 -21. Rodwell and Nastivic have to go on A list.

The under 21 rule and the Club trained rule are different than prem league rules so out of the above squad you need to lose two players to qualify for that competition. I will make it easy for you RSC is about to go so that means you still out of the above have to tell a player he can't play against RM, Ajax or BM next year. However if you add Johansen our academy player as third keeper instead of Wright this means this squad does comply with the rules.

Now for prem league there are spaces, but this is why I have been saying all along that if we are to sign Pique/DDR/Garcia one more out of the above will have to make way, if Mancini goes down this route he stands the risk of alienating at least one squad member by telling him prem league and domestic cups only. I don't think he will, I think he will want the same squad for CL as he does for prem league to keep everyone happy. That means we have a 23 man A list squad. Off course all the youngsters can still be added the Razaks, Suarez's etc.
