From what I saw of the CL draw on the box, we only had Vieira and Vicki Closs out there in Monaco. Seems a bit strange given that we usually have the CEO, Khaldoon, Marwood etc out there. Perhaps they're busy with something else.

I'm optimistic that something's going to happen. That draw might make a difference as well; an added incentive to make a deal.

So taking a look at our squad, city can certainly fit a lot more into the side. Let's take for granted that De Jong is gone, and Nastasic, Maicon, and Sinclair are all in. (I'm aware of the Santa Cruz speculation, i'm going to assume city is stuck with him again). That leaves this squad

He did say £100m including wages. So about a £50m transfer and £200k a week. Not many players could command that or many who could pay it.
