It's kicking off in Poznan with the Irish and Poles

some rugby matches (without ball) taking place :)
nowhere close to city centres, fanzones or media attention though
fightclub kind a thing

ultra- i have met a lot of polish people in england and have been to poland 3 times so far...i have loved the people.

do the polish hooligans realise that at the moment poles are liked admired and respected the world over, but, if things turn nasty in your country then you will be tarnished (like the english were in the 80's) and you will be treated differently...in fact very poorly by euefa, foreign police and foreign fans.

thanks mate, good to read that

minority of those who cause trouble anywhere and to anyone don`t generally "think" cause there is no brain under the scull- but there is absolute marigin, no matter what BBC or Daily Mirror tells you

rest of active fans either boycott that event or only keep on eye on thing and react only when needed (like russians with USSR flags on our streets- insult that is qickly taken care off)

atmosphere in host cities is brilliant, been to three of them so far and never seen such a great views, I drunk so far with Irish, Russians, Greeks, English, Croats, Danes, Czechs, Italians and others and that`s the spirit of tournament, not incidents in bars which of course will occure but when you put in together in proportion with number of peoples visiting is only mariginal thing. And I hope it will stay that way! I`m pretty sure actually.
Other thing may be with Russians though, if they decide to display communist symbols on mass scale in Warsaw on 12th. Hopefully not gonna happen and all these rumours is just shit talk of lazy media and/or provocation.
