well, techinically he has met his expectation, so he would stay. for me it could depend on if we got the league cup final and the manner we had played

In real life, I expect he's got the job for at least the last year of his contract.

If I was making the decisions, it would depend on a few more things. Have we pushed the top 4 and fallen short, or have we limped into 6th? Are we performing well, or just grinding out good enough results? Have we started to show some consistency in performances?

I think the cup is important, and even making a cup final would be a significant influencing factor.
