Well, it IS our fault in a way, and I think we need to take some accountability.

If we hadn't won 5 of the last 10 premier league titles things wouldn't be so tough for them and there'd be no need to smash up an officers face or protest that over 1bn spent is just not enough.

If we had not been quite as good this year then they could have been top. Same teams, same players, same spend... If we'd just missed a few more chances for the greater good of football then they could have been top with the chance to win it, and there'd have been no need for the protests yesterday at all.

The Glazers with Brown-nose the Norwegian gnome would have been celebrated, not demonised, if they'd have been able to bring home the title to Trafford this year.

Instead we've had the temerity to spend AND be successful, be on the verge of a champions league final, only need a United slip up to hand us the domestic title, created a club structure of financial independence where we don't owe any debt, and have an exciting brand of attacking possession football. The mental pressures we have created for them are just shocking, third world really. Only a good old release of energy at a football ground could ever help that burden work loose.
