I am still doing cartwheels about where we are now. We seem to be fighting last years transfer wars. We have moved on surely?
If you don't think the 3 players mentioned will strengthen us, then there's no hope for you.
It wouldn't if we lost YaYa, Kun and Silva - No I'm not expecting that - but all things being equal it should. However, I'm not sure it is ungrateful not to rate one or more of those targets as highly as other possible targets. Also, there is no reason not to want the best for City. I would be very happy if we added those three, even though there are some strikers that I would prefer ahead of an ageing, injury prone RvP.

I agree unless Balotelli or Dzeko are leaving.
Zab confirmed the 3 argentines are going nowhere so Aguero and Tevez are staying.
Tevez City said:I don't want RVP.
I am not sure IF RVP & Aguero will form better partnership than Tevez & Aguero !

Can you elaborate on that partnership. Outside of Norwich (when even I could have scored) how did they actually do?

Can you please elaborate on which of the Tevez/Aguero goals v Norwich you could have scored? The 3 screamers, out muscling a centre back for a header, or rounding the keeper?
Maybe it's not that great but Tevez does drop back to play behind Aguero. Tevez's form did go down towards the end he wasn't having a good game against QPR maybe due to fitness but every time Tevez does go on Holiday he seems to pack on the pounds happened at the start of this season. I don't how that would work if we got RVP as Mancini likes to use Aguero as the furthest forward to utilise his acceleration.wahooblue said:skybluecelt1990 said:wahooblue said:Can you elaborate on that partnership. Clearly a joke about Norwich's defense and they way they played us. When a team opens up and plays us any of our four strikers would have destroyed them.
But back to the serious question. Does anyone want to explain how this great partnership was really all that great?

Agreed, Tevez is at his best in the hole, but I just don't buy the hype at the end of the season that they formed a brilliant partnership. Shut out for the last three games. We can find someone else that can play in the hole who is just as good as Tevez (Hazard perhaps) who didn't hand in a transfer request as captain during one of the most important points in the season during one of our most important seasons in recent history.
No I have not forgiven him. Makes my blood boil everytime he puts on the shirt.
Edit: and with regard to fitness...he had plenty of time to get match fit by the QPR game. That cannot be an excuse.
