I'm more fearful that Ibra suddenly comes onto the radar if Milan want to recruit Dzeko.

Last week Mancini said that Ibra is a champion. I understand the clamouring for RVP because he is a proven performer in the EPL. But if Mrs RVP prefers the shopping in London then Houston we may have a slight problem. Is it that perturbing the prospect of Ibra as a fallback option?

So looks like Dzeko leaving either to Milan or Bayern.
That frees up cash for either Silva or RVP. If it is Silva then we need a striker to plug the gap left by Dzeko, seems people are saying Sturridge available for 10m. So strike force would be Tevez, Aguero, Sturridge and Balotelli well that seems an evenly balanced foursome. We are still in for Bale I assume and Martinez. If we sign RVP instead of Sturridge we need to lose another of our players so that could be Nige allowing Martinez to take his place if we can prise him out of Bilbao. Bale is a one off.

So outs Nige and Dzeko if we are getting RVP.

Ins RVP/Sturridge, Silva, Martinez and Bale. Doesn't seem to me to be tinkering with the side that seems quite an adjustment. :-)

it seems that the targets are to make a stronger more all round squad for rotation that is one of the reasons why hazzard didn't want to come in my honest opinion.

As suspected AJ is wanted by Liverpool (mail) for a fee of around £16mill. My prediction for what it's worth is AJ will end up at Liverpool for around £18mill, Ade will go to spurs for £8mill, Santa Cruz to Betis for £2mill and Weiss to Turkey for £4mill. We will buy Bale for £40mill. So that's a net outlay of £8mill.

We could get 30m out of the dippers for AJ. They shell out 20m for English players with half his skill! Start the negotiations at 40m. They'd probably surprise us and say 'Aw, all right then, lah.'

Apparently their budget is 25 millions for this summer and if that's true they won't spend 16 millions on AJ.

Is it bad that I wouldnt actually mind seeing Ibra here? He gets a lot of hate, but he only plays for teams that finish top 2, he must have some impact. Hes got a great touch (which suits our style), hes tall (to fit the "target man" role) and he cant half take a shit hot set peice.

Yea u got me, I just want him to be on citys fifa team next year.

RVP could always leave the Mrs in London, another added bonus for move up north ;-)

Ibra is the best target man in the world and anyone who calls him overrated is probably basing it off some tepid showings against English clubs. But that raises a concern, he hasn't been that good against English sides in general, is it a warning sign that he might not suit this league? He was excellent against Arsenal last season in one leg then looked like the worst player in the world in the next leg, he can be frustrating like that but his heights far surpass just about any other player of his kind.
