Danamy deserves a lot of kudos with regards his stance, maintained all along.
He trusts his sources of information, all you can ever ask.
RVP is that runaway train and he is seemingly never going back, or at least just to tell them he has not changed his mind.
I still believe Juventus are the main rival at this point, especially if Krasic goes to Liverpool.
The Spanish big two, strangely quiet, though.
While I do not doubt your good intentions I just can't see us signing RVP.
We have a policy of buying younger than him. We already have
Kun, Tevez , balotelli. Two of these are already world class and Mario could join them. Another top class forward who would expect to play would seriously rock the boat.
I haven't mentioned Edin as logic suggests a player of his calibre can not be bench warming all season.
If we do buy a striker far more likely to be a young tyro who will get games but also happily drop out for the biggest of games.
Of the two I would have thought Bale fits the age bracket if not our playing style. He would offer something different.
You won't find me disagreeing at all, though.
I have simply offered my own opinion as to what a great player RVP is, what he could do for this team in the immediacy, his motivation for winning trophies.
Mancini is also on record stating his admiration for the player, as he tends to do, same with Ibra.
RVP has backed himself into a corner because his price, allied to his age, has scared off the biggest of clubs.
We are in small pool of takers, and we have a really good chance, and it could yet come down to his family.
I would prefer Cavani and Falcao, just in terms of age and sell-on value.
Bale is an absolute no-brainer, an investment opportunity which could serve us for the net five years, and still with massive resale value.
