How class did snjeider look against Denmark!

The guy is quality pal, he is disinterested at Inter now and looking for a way out. I'd have him as a swap for Dzeko if Inter wanted him. Thing is we'd have him, Silva and Nasri. Just to much that.

His set pieces are what I like most, it gives us that threat for FK.

Did you see his backheel flick past Stekkelenberg in training? :0

I think Muller will not improve the squad at all.

If we want to use him as a forward, he is not better than Balotelli.

He is not a winger, and he is not better attacking midfielder than Silva or Nasri.

NEXT !

Right, because you typing in "NEXT" on a forum will definitely change the minds of Mancini and all the other higher ups within the club.

He's hard working, has an eye for goal, is quick, has a great first touch, and can play a killer pass. Get a clue.

I think it will be a huge mistake if we sign him as the players we already have, including Dzeko, are better.

Not only that, but I don't believe we will sign him. I think he's probably someone we have looked at in case we can't get the players we really want or alternatively, Bayern are trying to swap him for Dzeko.

I agree and much prefer to keep Dzeko over Muller, however, its not about swapping like for like. Muller will add to our strong midfield options and give us width on the right, whilst Dzeko leaving opens up an option for a new striker to come in.

Well if "width on the right" was what we were looking for, I can see why we were after Sanchez last summer. But Muller?? Two very different players and I would hope we were looking for someone more in the Sanchez mould.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying he can play in different midfield positions, one of them is on the right wing. We all know Bobby likes versatility and Muller has that.

And yet if we signed a wide forward the biggest beneficiary would be Dzeko.

yes thats why we were interested in Gaston Ramirez a fast young winger with excellent ball skills, unlike Muller.

Mate if we get offered a good deal then dzeko is gone!! 110%! His house has already been sold! He will only go if the figures stack up but the muller link is very very true.

Couldn't we sign Muller without selling Dzeko?

1) Not saying won't happen but at face value RVPs family seem to say not moving.
2) Mancini said happy with his strikeforce.
3) All sorts of problems at Spurs between Harry and Levy so signing players from there may be difficult.
4) Muller seems to play wide right, the quality of his crosses from right into the box would provide good amunition for the likes of Dzeko I agree with the above. If he can also play AM may ease the burden on Silva and Nasri.
5) TH stated we have about 60m net to spend, 32m buy out clause for Martinez leaving 28m for Muller both should come in under budget.

Conclusion if we only signed Muller and Martinez and no one left apart from the usual suspects would those two signings improve the squad. IMO Yes, would those two signings improve the team again IMO yes.
