Have any of you considerd that DDR signed a 5 year deal at Roma because he actualy has no intention of leaving them? What makes you think it's becaues he's getting Roma fair value for "When" he leaves?... Honest question. Has there been any more rumblings whatsoever hinting he might be on his way, let alone to us?

For the record i'd love him here, he's a wonderfull player. But i've heared nothing to make me think he's coming.

I don't think there have been any rumblings since yesterday, no.

What City need is a few pieces of top quality in a couple of positions where we were a little bare last season.

We're only shopping for top quality these days, we've ditched Matalan/Primark for Giorgio Armani/Versace

A clue for who Tolmie is referring to:
We already have a thread about him ;-)

We have old threads about Fabregas.

Giorgio Armani/Versace... Fabergé

Gas... Kerboom

Pathetic I know.

While I know these types of lists are notoriously off beam sometimes (ie no Yaya) I would have thought that our bomb signing ought to be in the top 19 players in the world.

Here they are.

19. Luis Suarez (Liverpool & Uruguay) UP FIVE
18. Arjen Robben (Bayern Munich & Holland) DOWN ONE
17. Gareth Bale (Tottenham & Wales) UP TWO
16. Eden Hazard (Lille & Belgium) UP THREE
15. Cesc Fabregas (Barcelona & Spain) DOWN ONE
14. Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich & Germany) DOWN THREE
13. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan & Sweden) UP TWENTY
12. Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid & Spain) NO CHANGE
11. Neymar (Santos & Brazil) UP SIX
10. Sergio Aguero (Man City & Argentina) NO CHANGE
9. Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich & France) DOWN ONE
8. Wayne Rooney (Man United & England) UP ONE
7. Mario Gomez (Bayern Munich & Germany) NO CHANGE
6. David Silva (Man City & Spain) DOWN ONE
5. Andres Iniesta (Barcelona & Spain) UP ONE
4. Robin Van Persie (Arsenal & Holland) NO CHANGE
3. Xavi (Barcelona & Spain) NO CHANGE
2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid & Portugal) NO CHANGE
1. Lionel Messi (Barcelona & Argentina) NO CHANGE

Never thought I'd see the day when City had one player in a world top 10, let alone 2 - Happy days :D

Word is that Guardiola will be new Bayern boss
Martinez was a target. If pep goes there you can see the attraction
Tolmie was cursing the fact Martinez reps cooled city talk
