Dzeko would be lethal if he showed more strength and aggression, for a man his size he is too timid and got bullied far too much by Premier League defences. Someone like Ibra, Benzema, and even Andy Carroll (not that he's as good as Dzeko but I'm talking about one feature here) refuse to be messed around by defences and use their height and body strength to full advantage... something Dzeko doesn't do nearly enough.

Sorry I don't agree. Edin is a fantastic world class player and seriously underrated on here. Look at his stats, look at the goals he has scored. Played regularly and with the right service and he could break goal scoring records.

And no I'm not Bosnian. I'm a welsh blue of 40+ years standing (or sitting now perhaps). I for one hope Mancini's recent statement is correct and that he's edin nowhere!

Get me a stat that shows how amazing his first touch and a general ball control are ? I dont understand what the right service is if our midfield cant provide it, then where do you go to get better ?

Stats are great if you are playing a computer game, the reality is quite different.

Well we are all entitled to our opinion! And I'll back my own eyes thanks.

And as for not being able to jump Pudge which Dzeko was it that scored against Wigan, the classic against the Spuds and not forgetting that we would never have had Aguerroooooooo without Edin!

So we are all entitled to our opinion !!! but i can throw a little digg in to belittle others opinion....

But since you back your own eye's, you dont think his first touch let's him down, what is the correct service...

you see you made those point's but never gave an explanation as to why the team that scored more than anyone else in the leauge has an issue with service ?
What do the stats make of that ?

In 43 appearances you would have thought people could think of another example other than the Spurs away game.

Watch the everton game.... the two Liverpool cup tie's... i could go on, harping on about one game almost 12 months ago for a good performance ... not much of case to put forward is it ?

So we want 23m for Tevez they are only prepared to go to 16m, the 7m difference is no doubt the so called loyalty bonus. Who pays?. With Ade gone and if we get the 23m what is the betting that is the max amount we will go for in respect of RVP. In other words we save either Tevez's wages or Ade's over two years something like 20m quid and we also get RVP for nothing. Even if the Tevez deal doesn't come off with RVP we still get a saving on Ade's wages. We can't lose, we either swap one good player with another or we stay unchanged but 20m to the good.

I just hope our other targets don't involve AC and are straight forward cash deals. I still think AC will go back on the Silva and Ibra transfer. I assume from what TH has posted there is a clock ticking after which time we just buy our midfield/defensive players and keep the strikers we have.

Its well known that Dzeko would do better with winger type service.

Looking back at some of his wolfsburg the majority seemed to come from long balls or crosses from wingers. That is not the sort of service he gets from us as we dont play the long ball and we dont have wingers at the moment.

We have the best passing midfield in the prem, possible only second to Barca, but that doesn't suit Dzeko.

Getting a winger in and Dzeko will be a totally different player. Not that he was bad this season anyways, he was only "bad" by association with Aguero.

Don't players void their loyalty bonus upon submitting a transfer request?

There a quite a few more ,especially the first quarter of the season but someone said A STAT,the Spurs performance is better than A STAT!

They should IMO but seeing as it has cropped up (not by me) and given the club brought back Tevez to honour his contract I suspect Tevez (or Kia more likely) are saying transfer request denied or some other sort of bollocks therefore if club want him to leave he is entitled.
